how far in advance should we book?
As early as you can! My calendar fills up quickly—especially during peak seasons—so I recommend booking a few months ahead.
I'm only available on weekends, can you accommodate me?
Weekend spots—especially in peak season—fill up quickly and are limited. I do my best to be flexible but also prioritize family time. If you want a weekend session, please reach out as early as possible!
do you require a deposit?
Yes, a retainer is required to secure your date. The amount varies depending on the session type. Feel free to reach out if you have questions!
what happens if we need to reschedule?
Life happens! I’m happy to work with you to find a new date—just give me as much notice as possible. The first reschedule is free; any changes after that may be subject to a fee.
what if it rains on our session day?
I always watch the forecast and will contact you if the weather looks iffy. We can find an indoor location if needed, or reschedule (pending availability).
what should we wear, and can we do outfit changes?
I’m happy to help with wardrobe choices! I have a style guide and can offer personalized advice based on your session and location. For full sessions, quick outfit changes are a great way to add variety—just keep logistics in mind, or ask me for tips to make it smooth.
can we choose which photos we get?
I handpick the best images to create a cohesive, storytelling gallery—so you don’t have to stress about picking!
can we have the unedited images?
I don’t ever provide RAW files. Think of it like asking for your meal uncooked—the editing is where most of my creative work happens.
can I get all the black and white photos in colour?
All galleries include a thoughtfully curated mix of colour and black & white images based on what best suits each photo’s style and lighting. Feel free to reach out if you'd like a couple of favourites changed over. Please note that re-edits may be subject to an additional fee and must be requested within 14 days of receiving your gallery.
when will I get my photos?
Turnaround is usually 3–4 weeks for family sessions. I aim to deliver sooner when possible!
